Companionship
This component of the Health-Aids Program enables persons living
with HIV/AIDS an opportunity to remain at home yet have the interaction
and conversation that may not always be provided by household members.
Clients that access this service can have set companionship routines throughout
the week or call a day in advance to schedule a visit. Visits will be
limited to two hours per visit and twice a week.

Respite
This component of the Health-Aide Program aims to provide the primary
caregiver of a person living with HIV/AIDS emotional support, physical
relief, and peace of mind. LCS’ respite services refers to short
term, temporary care provided to people with HIV/AIDS and is intended
to help the primary caregiver maintain emotional and personal well being
through this intermittent care giving relief. LCS respite service benefits
both the client and their live-in caregivers by allowing for the client
to be cared for and the allowing for the caregiver to do whatever is restful
to them such as shopping, visiting, attending a meeting, or to going for
a walk. Visits will be limited to two hours per visit and twice a week
