Fernando Morales, Executive Director
Fernando Morales brings more than 25 years of experience fighting HIV/AIDS to the LCS executive director position. Prior to his appointment, he served as Deputy Director of the organization and oversaw management, budgeting, program planning, program evaluation and sustainability. Other positions Mr. Morales held within LCS include Capacity Building Program Coordinator for the Healthy Families and Communities Project and Outpatient Supportive Services Administrator for the Ryan White Title I program.
Before joining LCS, Mr. Morales was a substance abuse/HIV counselor for the University of Connecticut Health Center, working in collaboration with the State of Connecticut Department of Correction. His success earned him an invitation to Yaroslavl, Russia to implement HIV counseling and testing programs throughout that city.
Mr. Morales is a state certified HIV prevention counselor and educator.
