The national health reform bill has a provision that allows spending by state ADAPs to count towards the out-of-pocket spending of someone who is on Medicare Part D.  Confused yet? Don't worry.  Our experts will walk you through it and lead you to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow... Lower ADAP costs!  Many people with HIV who are on Medicare can't afford Part D out-of-pocket costs, so they stay on ADAP.  This new provision will help them to afford Medicare Part D and transition off ADAP.
